A brand synonymous with optimism
The Yorkshire Cancer Centre will change people’s preconceptions of hospitals. Designed as a 21st century centre dispensing 21st century care in 21st century surroundings, the centre will look as much like a top hotel as a hospital can following a belief that the right surroundings play a part in making a patient more comfortable, optimistic and resilient.
The centre is placed alongside St James’ University Hospital in Leeds, itself a world class teaching hospital. CMS will work closely with the Leeds Teaching Hospitals Charitable Foundation to help raise ten million pounds towards its facilities.
A strong branding image has been developed by the CMS creative team which avoids the too frequently used Yorkshire Rose and instead creates a brand identity conveying colour and optimism.
